  1. Exactly. Nothing to see here. Its the Suso to Barca situation all over again. Fully expect him to sign a new contract when he hits 18.
  2. Walcott & huntelaar would be excellent signings and very astute business taking into account their contracts are running out. As would ba with his £7m release clause. I think this approach is the best chance we have of adding very good quality at this point. 2 out of these 3 would be an excellent window
  3. Would have been great to have kept him to play alongside Suarez and not purchase Carroll. But I think the Torres to us boat has sailed (too expensive and not the player he was, although undoubtedly he has still talent and better than most of our current options). I think there is far more better value for money in Huntelaar (who is still in form, has played with Luis before, 6 months left on his contract, and only a year older). Hope this random link is true... http://www.nationalturk.com/en/klaas-jan-huntelaar-have-agreed-with-liverpool-for-the-transfer-season-re-open-epl-transfer-news-27445
  4. Why is it that win lose or draw domestically we always have a controversial decision go against us every match (can't remember the last one we didn't), but won lose or draw in europe we don't seem to be having that same conversation at all as the officiating seems fairer. Coincidence... Do think so now the amount these happen now. If things level themselves up over the coarse of the season we are in for a bumper windfall of wrong decisions in our favour soon.
  5. Ha ha he even says himself "as soon as there is CONTACT he dives"...maybe thats coz you just fouled him by your own admission you numpty!
  6. Agreed! Would be great.
  7. Step up yesil (scored again tonight)
  8. Great video and makes you angry at how we've blatantly been badly treated . Its going to continue until someone breaks his leg isnt it (seems the only way it'll be brought to the attention properly). That video doesn't even include the non-Luis pathetic decisions as well, e.g. Shelvey red, Evans none, van persie on Suso, Mulumbu on Henderson, the continual hacking Sterling is now getting week in week out, Valencia dive...it goes on and on! But sure its alright, Luis is a diver. Media and FA need to get some perspective. Whats worse, someone diving or someone intentionally injuring someone (and you can add the Huth stamp and Van persie elbow to those injustices vs our treatment). Glad Rogers came out yesterday and spoke on it. If it happens again, he should step it up another notch, be less diplomatic and name specifics (e.g. this time he was more PC and didnt mention any other team or player by name when referring to the weekend's games). Would be great if he played that video at his next press conference too and asked them to comment if its ok or not!!! I think its good to include the ones where fouls have been given too as it shows how roughly he is being treated and continually but how many red cards have been given? It makes the point he is a marked man, everyone is targeting but he isnt getting the fair protection.
  9. Here's mostarLFC's compilation of incidents and treatment of Saurez so far this season (remember we are only a few games in not compiling something a full season long): http://www.footylounge.com/films//mostarlfc/luis-suarez-bad-tackles-and-uncalled-penalties-thus-far-201213-season-video_9b360ef0a.html Great video and makes you angry at how we've blatantly been badly treated . 10. I wish someone would put a compilation together showing the decisions that have gone against us this season in the league (haven't seen one yet). It would have loads of incidents and we are only a few games in. Saturdays game alone had about 3 two footed tackles, a jumping elbow, a stamp etc alone, and thats all before we add the 2 penalty decisions, van persie tackle and sending off against utd, Suarez's "dive" which had contact against Sunderland, Norwich defender climbing all over Luis's back then elbow chopping him, Mulumbu's tackle on Henderson, etc etc etc. It just goes on and on. I know refs will get decisions wrong, which is natural. But the amount it is stacking up not in our favour over and over again is ridiculous. Would be a good video compilation to have.
  11. Whats worse is he comments on being booked 3 times for diving when 2 incidents there was definately contact, and Ferguson called Saurez a diver incorrectly after it was Charlie Adam that was actually fouled by Ferdinand. Then there is the line "Referees hate being duped and would rather miss a ‘soft’ penalty than give one when a player has dived". Soft, what was soft about that against Norwich??? So again...why is he being victimised??? Terrible and embarrassing article bya terrible and laughable referee Poll!
  12. Why did Carra (a right footer) play on the left of center and Coates (a left footer) play on the right? Only thing I can take on that is getting Carra used to that side before playing in Aggers position against Norwich. Cant see Agger being risked.
  13. Watching it on TV with my dad, who doesn't really follow football (but still hates utd), and just looking over at him soon after we equalised and he was sitting there just shaking his head in disbelief at what had just happened. He was well caught up in it. Looked shell shocked in a good way.
  14. referees either have it in for us or are just inept. Either way, something needs to be done about it but nothing will Its a red it right. Potential leg breaker and no where near the ball. Henderson was very lucky.
  15. Me neither and sounds all too familiar what he is describing too. I wish more clubs / managers would decide to come out and call the Manc favouritism for what it is publically, and just take the fine. If everyone starts doing it, maybe then they'll start to take notice and tone it down.
  16. I like the way both Suso and more and more often now Sterling just get up and get on with it when being taken out (and I mean taken out as opposed to just tripped). Maybe its the way they have been coached. But the way you see you get nothing for being honest nowadays you can start to think its best to do what Evans did (unless you are Saurez and your damned either way). Media jump on diving, but the way the game is reffed actually encourages it.
  17. Don't agree with the comments to him relating to the cancer. There is absolutely no excuse for the numpties who do that. Do agree he deserves the other football related abuse he is getting, especially if he is foolish enough to have a twitter account (as a ref and obvious target, it he didnt want abuse or couldnt hack it then dont have an account). Can anyone confirm though if he lives in manchester though, seeing as he has made his complaint to the greater manchester police? Seems a strange choice of ref if so.
  18. Anyone know if we are likely to appeal it?
  19. The thing is too, in all 3 incidents (you can see it in 2 of these exact clips) the ref is in a brilliant position to view them. Then he gets it completely wrong on each!!!
  20. Anyone know if we are appealing Shelveys red or not yet?
  21. few weeks ago I thought we should come out and call the refs decisions against us but thought the reason we weren't was we are on a bit of an image rebuild this year and don't want to be seen to rock the boat. Feck that... Time to call a spade a spade. Sometimes we have been on the receiving end of poor ref decisions. But today was all about corruptness. Funny it happens in Italy but we are supposed to believe it doesn't in our league. Today confirmed it for me
  22. Think Rogers should come out and highlight the refs agendas against us, primarily Suarez is being unfairly treated due to last seasons racism debacle (refs couldn't pissibly be seen giving a decision to a racist as that woul make them racist too wouldn't it). Ridiculous. However I don't think we will comment publically as I think the club are actively trying to rebuild relations with the media this year. Best we can hope for is we go behind the scenes to the refs and ask for some talks
  23. Watching allour league games so far this season and its blatantly obvious to the opposition that you can hack away at Saurez and you won't be punsihed by the ref. I believe it has all to do with Ferguson last season and coming out and claiming that Saurez dived in the match against the scum to get the free kick that lead to our goal when it was Adam. The mistaken identity didnt matter as his objective was to plant the seed in the medias eyes and the refs that Saurez is a diver. Thats from the same maneger that only a few years ago was complaining refs didnt give Ronaldo enough protection!!! The Evra incident has majorly tainted Saurez too to the externt that refs I feel fear they cant give deciusions in favour of a racist in case (mad I know). Fact is Ferguson has too much influence at the FA, over refs and the media, but he knows it and uses it to his great advantage and we wont be free of it until he retires. Saurez needs to help himself as much as he can over the next period and stop the complaining and over reacting, as right as he is at times to be annoyed, the cycle will continue until he drops off the radar as being the #1 offender so he needs a bit of good PR and keep his head down and say nothing regardless. Let Gerrard do the complaining for him as thats the captains job to be able to speak with officials in a constructive way.
  24. Gotta pay for the bubbly at the share holders annual party don't you know!
  25. If we get Sahin and Tello in on loan and hold onto Agger, then for me it will have been a very very good summer. With potential loan signings like that you have got to wonder why we havent done more of it before. The likes of Madrid and Spurs did it with Adebayor, and Roma and Milan have gotten Aqualani from us. All big clubs taking advantage of it, and if we are tight on budget it makes absolute sense. Buy one or 2 permanent, cover the other cracks with loan signings, then address those next summer. Heck, the loanees might become permanent transfers the next year so not totally wasted experience, and if it gets us back into the CL where we can attract bigger names again anyway its a job done.
