Yeah, Robbo seemed to have Keita and Mane around him. Trent seemed to be on his own. Might be as much because Zaha was nominally tracking him, but actually wasnt.

Thought he was quiet first half but Milner had a poorer game than against West Ham. Looked good when Hendo came on though I thought.

Semi related. Had a conversation with Hightown Phil that there's an argument we need to be having more digs from distance even if they don't result in anything, so that the oppo can't just sit in and funnel us wide to defend the crosses. I think if there were more threat from 20-25 yards it'd pull the opposition defence up a bit and give some space in behind the for the fullbacks crosses to hit. It was all pretty congested in there, which is why Trent crossed the way he did I think. Absolute loads of pace on them. Just makes it much harder to do.

Project management hat on... If they're saying that the 1st possible date for the opening of that stadium in 10th November, then they've 10 weeks of work left to go on the stadium. There's no way that they didnt know that this wasn't going to be completed on time at least 6 weeks ago on that basis (if you assume that literally zero progress has been made in the last 6 weeks). Assuming progress has been made in the last 6 weeks it will be longer ago than that again. The only possible way that they would not have known that the new stadium wasnt going to be ready recently and the delay was this material is if something actually destructive happened. You'd thing that that would be publicised if it was that. I've got the anecdotal data point from my mate working on the stadium from ages ago that they all knew it was f***ed too, obviously.

Why not just do it on the last half of football on that basis. Bit mad that form can be that recent. Germany won all 10 of their qualifiers, won their group obvs. Denmark won 6 and went through as one of the better 2nd place team. Germany won 1 of their group games, as did Denmark. Suppose they're showing the value of the world cup I guess, but not really a reflection of reality.

I'm amused by the idea of Wales being better than Italy and Switzerland being a better side than Spain. England at 6 is mad too.
