He didnt do that though. He put Matip on and moved Gomez to FB. It was the exact same formation. -
He couldnt have done anything without the leverage that was afforded to him by the credit crunch. Ironically, as it was leveraging that f***ed them in the 1st place.

It was (in the main) the credit crunch that ended H&G. Broughton ran the process but ultimately it was the cost of credit and impending requirements to refinance that did for them.

Said that to Al on Saturday. Just before Milner wins the ball that results in the goal that we looked a centre mid too many in the side and that that midfielder was Milner. I still think I'm right though. Mad that we ended up with a f***ing extra one on there.
