Stevie H Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 don't suppose there's any chance the media will shut up about this one now is there? crouch proved again what an intelligent footballer he is in keeping both stubbs and weir occupied as a lone front man and took pressure off the midfield in doing so. plus he was his usual good out ball for us. beattie laboured pretty averagely and never looked like having the brains to change his game according to the way the match was going. crouch keeps seeing off all comers every time the press try to say that so-and-so is a better bet for international football than he is. long may it continue.
