RP Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 It was cold. Carson played first half and kept a clean sheet, only called into action once and made a decent save. Of the others, Bentley scored twice and looked ok. Routledge is very small and bandy, couldn't stop a pig in a passage. But he's bloody quick. Didn't look that skilful (and against limited opposition) but was involved in setting up one of Bentley's goals. Other than that, Hudddlestone (of Spurs) was excellent. He looks a real player. And he's a fookin giant, absolutely massive. Played in a Didi type role and was the dog's b*llocks - the oppo was of course not that great but you could just see he had more about him than anyone else on the pitch. I was impressed. Will be interested to see how he develops. The rest were much of a muchness. Oh and it was cold.
