I've accused Gerrard of not turning up in big games but feck me, Lampard was the worst player on the pitch yesterday. Did nothing of note till that free kick near the end.

Just once i'd like to see him have a real go against them or the Mancs. He seems subdued against Chelsea...walks around with his head bowed when he should be flying into Lampard and mouthing off at them.

 

If he is the best player in the world, as many people believe, then he needs to play better in games like that.

couldnt agree more.Only thing missing from his game is the keane/souness like attitude to defend his players at all costs. Forget friends off the pitch
