Thanks RP

Last night in the pub, my girlfriend said she would get me one. I think I said 'I'll get the next round in then'

Doubt it'll happen but I need to have the details for her anyway.

If I were to fail to get a ticket for the semi final, and therefore lose my priority on a final ticket, does anyone know how long it would take to get a share in lfc, and whether this automatically will entitle me to a Cup final ticket?

Cheers

Ed

A single share won't

I agree a single share would be sufficient - but I doubt you would be registered in time.

And it would be cheaper to go through a 'ticket agent' - much as I despise them, it would be cheaper unless you actually want to become a shareholder anyway.

If 1 share will, it must have been changed. Years ago (before I got an ST) I looked into buying a share for the same reasons...easy access to tickets...was told I needed more.

I have 1 share only and that has got me tickets for Cup homes & aways, Euro homes, League Cup Finals, Charity Shields etc

I haven't had it long enough to know if it is any good for an FA Cup Final - I suspect it may not due to the reduced number of tickets to fans of the two teams in an FA Cup Final vs. League Cup Final

I've always wondered, would it be better in the long run to get a share rather than a season ticket?

In terms of getting match tickets, a season ticket is preferable by a mile.

I've already asked this in the ticket forum ( cheers for the reply Will ) but thought I would check in this thread also, seeing as there are more shareholders responding here. Has anyone bought League tickets using their share or is the option to buy confined to cup games ?

You can't buy league tickets using your share allocation the only game they open shareholding to is Everton away and then you have to have 15 shares or more

It is only all home cup competitions that allow us shareholders to get tickets for along with semi's and finals as well.

Talking of shares, how has the clubs share price performed over last few years?

Or do these shares work differently?

As for dividends we've never had one! At one time the value of the share has been over £7000!

You can actually send in a letter for any game and ask for a ticket, and they often will sell you one - best to do so before the main sale though....

They don't work that way.

The price remains fairly constant as there isn't a market for trading them as such. If one or two become available then a price is negotiated with a buyer but for the last 18 months the prices have been approximately £3000.
