Guest Kev Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Wasn't it ruled offside either way? No, the linesman was signalling for a goal kick.
stressederic Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 No, the linesman was signalling for a goal kick. You have no idea how much I didn't want to know that.
Huyton_Red Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Wasn't it ruled offside either way? This was before that (which was another wrong decision by the way) Watch the replay, when sissoko dinks the ball over cisse goes for it and as he gets a nudge van der saar goes right through him, thats why he is down when the the parry from kewells shot comes to him when he balooned it over and was judged offside despite being 4 yard onside Clear pen, wrong end to get any attention like, but a clear pen
Guest Kev Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 You have no idea how much I didn't want to know that. Sorry, do you want me to change your name to 'reallystressederic' now ? I'll take your word for it though. It gives me an outchannel for my feelings of depression and rage. Sorry, do you want me to change your name to 'reallystressederic' now ? I wouldn't want to give off the impression that I am f***ing gutted by the result.

Exactly what I was going to write in my first post. Honestly, watch it again, the keeper gets NOTHING on the ball and goes right through ciise as he trys to dink it, thats why he did not score the first time, that is why he is on the deck when the ball comes back in and is parried Watch it - its a pen

Guest Kev Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Not sure which was more embarassing, the miss or the fact that he made a miraculous recovery Embarassing, disgusting, annoying, pathetic.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 With Riley as the ref & at OT. You're never gonna get one unless he really can't avoid giving it
stressederic Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Embarassing, disgusting, annoying, pathetic. Are we limited to choosing only one, or can I plump for all of the above?
Guest Kev Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Are we limited to choosing only one, or can I plump for all of the above? I was hoping you could add more, I'm still f***ing livid over that.
Gray - YPC Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I dislike Cisse more than I even disliked Diouf when he was at the club (obviously Diouf's well over-taken him now). Didn't like him before he joined us, and he's done little to chance my mind. Still.... he was ten times better than last season at Old Trafford, which was probably the most disgusting, s***house, and spineless performance I have ever seen!!
stressederic Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I was hoping you could add more, I'm still f***ing livid over that. I'm afraid my ability to use a full and varied vocabulary is directly disproportionate to the level of my anger. At the moment the best I could probably do would be a long scream interesperesed with f***, c***, and gobschite. I'm going to bed.

You mean like the penalty that Danny Murphy scored?.....
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 we should appeal the result anyway. No-one fixed the goal after Reina knacked it, so it was no longer regulation size for the rest of the game (it was too large). Maybe the header wouldn't have gone in if they'd sorted it
Frosty Jack Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 This was before that (which was another wrong decision by the way)thats why he is down when the the parry Why do you have to blame Parry for everything?
Koogan Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Not sure which was more embarassing, the miss or the fact that he made a miraculous recovery Cisse is getting way too much stick here. It is pure instinct to go for the ball even if one is injured. I have done that, failed and regretted trying. Now I'm no Cisse, nor have I ever been a footballer of any repute (apart from woeful) but even I couldn't help it.

Stevie H Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 i thought you were going to describe the first half incident where ferdinand clearly pulled crouch's shirt when crouch was going for a header. THAT was a penalty and the linesman should have had a great view of it.
