Oh my God I swear if he had have mentioned that Robben yellow card once more the foot was going through the telly.

INTERESTINGLY, nobody made the point that the meticulous Mourinho ought to have briefed his squad on the rules of the game, not to the extent of inconsequential minutiae, but at least as to what you can and can't do when you score a goal, which he presumably foresaw his team doing at some stage this year.

Funnily enough, as soon as Robben jumped the hoarding, I thought "isn't that a bookable offence"?

Yes, it is.

And Robben didn't know. "I am sorry officer, I didn't know robbing this bank was against the law" Doh!

Oh, and the first booking was also a booking. It was a clumsy challenge from behind "a tackle from a man who doesn't know how to tackle". Tackle from behind.... "I am sorry officer, I didn't know how to use this gun so you can't punish me for shooting someone" Doh!

Gray has a point but during the game yesterday he really lost it. It was a stupid decision - esp after what Robbie gets/got away with - but the ref was well in his rights to book him and Robben should know that. I did!

It was a farcical decision to send Robben off, dont care who he plays for, it is a f***ing stupid rule if it exists. Football will only get colder and colder by the day with daft regulations like that.

some of the chelsea fans jumpes on their chairs to go and celebrate with robben, someone could have easily got an injury because of his action and he deserved the second yellow

So you'd have been ok at the time if Gerrard had picked up a 2nd yellow against Olympiacos last season? The number of fans running down the kop when he scored to celebrate certainly was dangerous.

he didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with Rooney's celebration in front of the kop last season - pretty similar to Fowler's in my opinon

"That was the end he scored at" was the party line for that one.

They were as bad as each other, as Ostrich Man will tell you. United fans loved Rooney's, most on here are yopping over Robbie's.
