Guest Anders Honoré Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I have rarely been more excited about a player I have never seen. Go get him rafa!
Paul_LFC Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 He has everything and he is only 16, he is just going to continue to improve. I'd love us to try and get him, I know Rafa has stated his interest in public, lets hope Theo makes the right decision.
Spike Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 just a though but if he is yet to sign a pro contract why is the bidding so high? I though these fees were set by tribunal...
Maldini Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 first kicked a football six years ago 1144040that's f*cked up!
Guest Ant Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 As much as I would like him the Houllier logic comes to mind. "Players in England are sometimes priced at £10million or £20million but why by hear when you can buy the exact same quality of player for £2 or £3 Million" Well its at leats something to that effect.
goodrobotusses Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Just to stir the pot some more (from this month's FourFourTwo)... I was a Liverpool fan, because my dad followed them. I wasn't alive during their golden era, but I enjoyed watching the likes of Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman. When Liverpool won the Champions League, I went mad. I was shouting so loud I think I woke up the entire village!
owenthomas Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Couldn't finish a w**k though.1144103

I though these fees were set by tribunal...1144201 that's exactly what i've been wondering. he cleans boots and gets paid £50 a week ffs. am sure the £9m stories are being planted by chelsea to try and frighten other clubs off.
StevieC Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 11.52sec for the 100 metres Sweet jebus that's fast.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 that's f*cked up!1144250 Leyton Hewitt didn't start playing tennis until he was 15. some just have it in them.
Rahul Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I'll ask his mate for the latest next time I see him. Saw this on another forum: We are pleased to report that Southampton ace Theo Walcott could sign for Liverpool this month because of a loophole which can be exploited. This explains why Liverpool have only tabled a £3million offer for the player which suggests someone in the Walcott camp is keeping us in the loop. That offer though was rejected by Southampton but Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry has left it on the table. Walcott can leave Southampton before his 17th birthday in March and a tribunal would then set the fee which could be as low as £2.5million. Liverpool fan Walcott (16) is the Premier League's hottest talent at the moment with all the big guns, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Spurs, all trying to compete with us for his signature. Saints boss George Burley is now resigned to the fact that the player could be on the move during the current transfer window. He said: "I can't give any guarantees I will be able to keep him beyond the January transfer window. That would be a silly thing to say because there is so much interest in him." And check this clip out: http://www.youtube.com/w/Theo-Walcott?v=kn...&search=walcott
intense enigma Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 And check this clip out: http://www.youtube.com/w/Theo-Walcott?v=kn...&search=walcott WOW!.....what a player. The Henry comparisons are not far off in my opinion.
