As annoying as he is SOMETIMEs (though im convinced a lot of the time he's only grumpy if he's paired with Ian Darke - rather than a dislike of us) he got one thing right.

 

Parry said something along the lines of "even if neutrals don't appreciate their football, they have to admire the efficiency and power of Liverpool".

 

Gray said "They don't play bad football. Some of their football is brilliant. You can't level that accusation at them".

 

About time someone in the media mentioned how good are football is. The papers have conveniently forgotten to mention this.

Aye, the first two goals would look a tad suspicious if there currently were match-fixing allegations in England... Martyn went down early for the first and didn't even move for the second, should have dived for the cameramen at least.
