Just sat open mouthed, shaking my head. I still don't understand how it all happened, i'm just so very happy that it did.

 

If that was a fictional story made up by a local writer for a competition you'd be saying, 'jeez could have made it a bit more realistic, as if something like that would ever happen'.

I just remember being very very very drunk - looking and sounding like after drinking molbys turkish brew outside the ground about 10 mins before going in.

 

Funnily enough several of these added to ready brek glow I had.

Only just back from my footie teams drinks and curry so I missed this. Did anyone manage to record it?

What was the documentary like, was it well done?

It was alright, but nothing special.

 

The best bits where the interviews with Rafa, Jerzy and especially Steven Gerrard, cos he was just big-upping Rafa the whole way through Which was nice, cos Chris Bascombe was being a bit condecending for some reason.

 

Otherwise it was radio commentry from the match, which I'm sure have made the rounds before. And talking to some group of fans. None of who had any tales to tell that you ain't heard basically. All very uninspiring.

 

So errr basically, it was alright, good to hear Rafa, SG and Jerzy, good to hear the clips of the final, but they could have dropped the fan bits and Bascombe, and made it even better
