The Hitman Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 What do we need here,an a*** win to stop Chelsea?A Chelsea win to put us in a better position to get second?A draw?
Gilps Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Arsenal win, obviously. Confident we'll have enough to stay ahead of them regardless and so anything that harms Chelsea is a good thing.
The Hitman Posted December 14, 2005 Author Posted December 14, 2005 (edited) That's what I thought,an a*** win can only be good for the Premiership. And us. Edited December 14, 2005 by Pretty Boy

Ronnie Whelan Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 If the a*** take any points off them i will be happy.
Gunga Din Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Arsenal win, and a couple of long term injuries for a few Chelsea players

Bigal Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 That would great for many reasons!!! But I was thinking, without Makele and Lampard, who else can play Centre midfield?
StevieC Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 and a badly miss timed tackle that catches mourinho around the throat1113347[/snapback] Wenger still wouldn't see it...
Ombudsam Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I like Arsenal and hate chelsea and we want to finish top so no-brainer
Eskimo Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 The more pressure that can be put on the Chavs, on and off the pitch, the better...so Arsenal win for me.
Swan Red Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I still think that the top four will comprise of us and the "big three" hence I want both sides to lose points
Eiler99 Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 (edited) I hope Arsenal win. With our current run of form I really think Chelsea would feel the pressure if they drop points on Sunday. Mourinho's endless rants about us recently suggest thye do feel threatened by us. Edited December 14, 2005 by Eiler99
Bigal Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I have the great mental image of jose giving out some instructions on the technical area and just a tackle from cygan just kicking him in the throat.
Swan Red Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 lol have to admit that would amuse no end I do think we may be getting a little ahead of ourselves however, we may have taken 21 points from the last 7 games but we only took 10 from the first 8 yes our form has improved as has our play but I also think that we may well find ourselves in a similarly disapoointing slump between now and the end of the season hence both teams dropping points with injuries on both sides is the best I am hoping for

Glass always half full

If arsenal win then we are potentially 6 points behind chelsea and we still have to play them. We play the game for the glory not a champion's league spot so we can kick on from there and the motivation of being that close to the leaders will keep the lads going even if we don't catch them. I'm already learning all the arsenal player's surnames so i can join in their pre-match celebrations
