Please Sponsor Me - 24 Hour Thunder Run for Aintree HaNC

Hi All

I am doing the Adidas Thunder Run for charity on the 25^th to the 26^th July – which involves our team running 10k laps cross country for 24 hours continuously, including through the night with a head lamp! I am doing it with a team from Aintree Hospital who looked after me when I had cancer (not anything else) including one of the Professors there and the fundraising organiser – in order to raise money for what is a very worthy, Liverpool based cause.

Although Liverpool based Aintree is a University Hospital and people come from all over the country for specialist treatment there from some of the most talented people the NHS has in this field of specialism.

I should run around 40k myself across the 24 hours (just under a marathon split into four 10ks) so I will be working hard for the money! I hope you don’t mind me asking, but I am reaching out to all my friends and family to see how much we can raise for a very worthy cause (which is of course really close to my heart). Its also hopefully going to serve as a good example of how people can beat cancer and be fit and healthy on the other side.
