Will be gone by 4pm today barring a miracle.

It's a disgrace how this club has been managed the last couple of years, symptomatic of the League of Ireland as a whole.

There will be no Premier division team south of Dublin after today.

Good to see they've got a reprieve for the moment but you're right. The League of Ireland is administratively a joke.

Looks like they survived by the skin of their teeth, thanks to Dermot Desmond and apparently Roy Keane dipped into his wallet too.

All of the players have asked the FAI for an exemption from the leagues transfer deadline so they can organise moves. They are all free agents so even if Cork survive next Thursday they could be looking at the entire playing staff leaving.

It's hard to blame the players as they haven't been paid in six weeks.

The whole thing is a basket case. How it's organised, not only in terms of administrating the clubs but simply what the league stands for is pie in the sky.

Cork would've been better off going bust and starting out again without that joker Coughlan. They have a fans group who need to stop giving money to Coughlan and start planning for the future when this latest reprive goes to s***.

Wrong. Bray Wanderers.

And the Wickla Mountain Rovers.

Heart goes out to Cork fans. Loads have been saying that they'll be back with a different name, again, but try telling that to someone who's only known City. Very sad.

They have more chance in the long term with the fans in charge of the club and none of this "investor" pie in the sky crap that has been going on. It's failed everytime so far and in the current financial climate it's even more unlikely to succeed.

Saved.......for now.
