It's because of their delusion. Their constant 'CL next year' and being linked to every good player under the sun then buying lesser ones. A large % of their fans prefer man united to us as well, which is fcking strange.

I hate them too and cant quite put my finger on the reason why. Know a couple of Spurs fans who are very annoying, oh and dillusional. But theres more to it than that. Redknapp being there doesnt make it any easier to like them.

Not strange at all - Man United is exactly what they see themselves as. It's no surprise they should like Man united and typically glory in their magnificent defeats to them. They've had a 3-5 and a 2-5 so they'll probably be hoping for a 4-7 or something next season.

I don't really hate spurs (although they make me angry with their lameness against United). They're good for comedy value though - with their nearly purchasing players - and their fans continued delusions about them being much better and bigger than they are and the every season repeated mantra of 'this season we'll overtake Arsenal'.
