1-0 after 3 mins (Nasri)

WBA (wearing sponsorless shirts apparently) completely fail to track two runners and get ripped apart.

West Bromwich Albion still seeking shirt sponsor

Jun 13 2008 By Chris Lepkowski

JEREMY Peace is hoping to attract a big-name shirt sponsor for Albion after admitting that he was still open to offers.

The Baggies are considering several offers - one of those, I understand, is from bookmakers Ladbrokes - but have not yet made a final decision on T-Mobile's successor.

Albion are looking for a deal which would net them in the region of £750,000-per year, preferably from a multi-national firm.

The plan is to have the new sponsor in place well before the new home shirts go on sale next month.

“We’ve got a few names and offers," said Peace.

“T-Mobile was a great partnership for four years. It was a really good international name and they had a great profile from it.

“They had good value out of us so it’s a hard act to follow.

“But I would like to think that we can attract somebody of a similar ilk – maybe not another mobile company but somebody similar.

“I would prefer somebody international.

“We need to have got the sponsor in place for the shirts to go on sale for holiday makers.

“We are looking to do the home shirts in mid-July and the away shirts in August.

“It's in the final stages but we are still looking to see what is out there.”
