Which games console?

Must be having an early mid-life crisis, because I'm thinking about buying ones of those new games console things. The last one I had was an Atari VCS, so I assume the technology has moved on a bit...

 

Basically, I fancy a Playstation 3 because a. it plays Blu-Rays b. I don't have a Blu-Ray player and c. The Neil Young archives will be coming out on Blu-Ray soon, so I'll need a Blu-Ray player!

 

Anyone reckon the XBox and/or Wii are vastly superior to the Playstation? If so, why?
