So the better half set up a number of direct debits to certain charities we wanted to support for various reasons. Nothing huge but it's something

 

Ever since, one in particular calls every 6 months or so, putting the guilt trip on her to try to get her to up the amount. I find that pretty fecking cheeky and underhand. I'd be tempted to cancel it all together but she just spends 10 minutes each time telling them politely to bugger off.

 

Some company is probably making a mint doing this on their behalf as well. Tossers.
