Kuyt maybe rubbish, but he is still a much better option on the right than Yossi, who likes to drift inside a lot, Kuyt keeps the shape of the side better. Plus, Yossi always performs poorly against quality teams.

Chelsea goal aside, I would say the same applies to Kuyt. I am not expecting Yossi to have a good game overall, but I would consider him more likely to pop in with a goal or great pass out of nowehere.

 

Actually, if Pennant was at all reliable, I think he could create more problems for their defence than either.

Kuyt was excellent in the semi at home to Chelsea as well.

The team picks tself apart from the 2 fullback positions, no way should we split up Carra and Skrtel as CB's.

 

I think he'll go for Riise at LB as he usually does alright against United and Chelsea, and would think Arbeloa gets it at RB, not least because he's reasonably quick.

 

There's no chance he will drop Kuyt against United and play Yossi, why would he do it now?

Well Voronin has scored 3 goals from open play in 13 league matches while Kuyt has scored 2 penalties and one goal he did not know anything about of his knee in 27 league matches.

 

That someone prefer the technical superior more paceful player that also score more goals hardly should come as a surprise.

Kuyt and Voronin are equally rubbish players in my mind.

 

Difference is, Kuyt always works hard. Voronin doesn't.
