I am going to the Ajax game this Sunday with some mates on a stag weekend. Really looking forward to it BUT, we have been told now that we have got to be at the Stadium for 09:45 for the tour etc because the game has been brought forward from its original evening kick off. Any particular reason why it has been brought forward? Is it a known violent game or anything?. If it is i think some of the none football fans will decide to miss it, I'm looking forward to it myself.

Cheers.

Could have something to do with the police strike that's been going on. 14.30 is a 'usual' time for Dutch games on Sunday, most games are played at that time.

Ajax - Willem II is NOT a high-risk, violent game or anything. Ajax games which are more notorious are against Feijenoord and Den Haag and possibly PSV.

There should be no trouble at all.

Oh, feck of Kahnee. :D

Had a little surf around, but can't find any info about why the game was brought forward.

Good luck getting to the stadium for 9.45 after a saturday night stag do

Cheers Surf. Some of the none football fans were wondering if it might be worth missing if there were any worries. Thing is, cause it is a package tour type of thing, the night before we are not allowed into the night club until 11:45, then have to be at the ground for 09:45 the next day. Early morning flight, then during the afternoon we are shooting at Dirty Harry's, so I reckon most of us may miss the club and get to bed after a show and a quick coffee.

You think every game is a violent game :D

What Surf Said. :bleh:

Ajax v Willem II is only high risk in terms of how bored and fat you might get eating the crappy krokketen at the AA for something to do.

Sorry for the delay in response, but, ours are all part of a Stag Package, £250 for 2 Nights in a hotel, Dirty Harry's Shooting, The Football Tour and game, night club, and mini buses taking us to and from the events. Not bad I thought, had to buy own flights, mine and me mates' were about £70 each. We looked at going to one English Prem game and one night in hotel and a club and it came to more than that.
