Kuyt's goals

Did you know that the last 'proper' goal he scored in the league was against Wigan last April ?

I'm not counting the two pens against Everton, or his deflection against Newcastle.

And he still gets a shirt

Or his 4 in the CL this season, or the 1 in Athens

Yes, I know you said League but...

Superb player! Will be a world beater when he finally finds his form. How can anyone doubt him.

It's not his goals, it's his poor play in a position that is vital to getting our attacking game going. He's struggling to even keep hold of the ball and complete a pass, let alone make anything happen.

if we've got no one capable of playing second striker, we should play a system without one, and that's not a pretend 4-3-3 which is in effect 4-4-1-1 with a central midfielder getting closest to the front man, and the wide players playing no differently to way they do in a 4-4-2.

so 7 goals in 29 games, that's 1 in 4, that worse than Emile ever was, and he still gets a game.

Did you know the last 'proper' post kev/snorky wrote in support of the club was just before king kenny wrapped up the title away to chelsea in 1986.

im not counting any after the champions league final because he was just glory hunting.

He is an extra defender...................for the opposition because he stops so much of our play when he gets the ball under control (Eventually).

He has to be close to being in the Liverpool Worst ever XI now for me. horrible player. Can't pass, can't dribble, can't shoot and has less pace then a pensioner with chewing gum stuck to their slipper. Virtually every attacking move breaks down with him, he has no composure and lashes at everything with the usual outcome of it hitting a team mate and the loss of possession. Worse than Paul Stewart.

Worse than Heskey's 1 in 31?

No because Emile kept the supply line for Owen and Baros. Kuyt can't even find his dick to have a wee.

Worse than Paul Stewart.

12 goals last season, 7 this season, scored in the cl final, scored the wining penalty in the semi against chelsea

I agree that he has been crap lately but FFS to compare him with Paul stewart is idiotic!

When Heskey went on that run, Baros never played for the club.

At the end of the day, centre forwards are there to score goals, Heskey and Kuyt both didn't, or don't, score enough goals. You can argue anything around that, but fundamentally, that's it.

Crap is an understatement, he's been totally abject, a complete liability every time he plays.

Worse than Paul Stewart is harsh

Really harsh

There's nobody worse than Paul Stewart

I know, I wasn't being serious about Paul Stewart. It's just so frustrating watching Kuyt.

Its not happening for him, but we don't exactly create bucketfulls of scoring opportunities for our forwards at the moment. The insistence of the midfield sitting too deep and having no width to our play can't help his situation.

sorry meant Fowler. My fingers are ahead of my brain.

So pens don't count, and neither does a goal against Newcastle. Not to fit your argument by any chance?

Apart from his goals, he hasn't scored at all.

7 goals in 29 games is a good arguement ?

He hasn't scored from open play in the league apart from a deflection at Newcastle since April 2007 !!!!!!

How anyone can defend that record is beyond comprehension.

The people who were with me at the game yesterday know that I think the same

Ironically we were discussing how much of a c*** Paul Stewart is pre match. He is. The grey pube headed piece of s***

Fowler had left midway through that run didn't he?

nope he played when Emile scored against Sunderland - they both nearly ran into me :D

although it was Robbie's last game as well.
