Dont know about you but the last few weeks have been the worst of my Liverpool Supporting life (I was too young for Heysel or Hillsborough and not here to do comparisons).

The club is not the same anymore. There is just such a bad vibe going around. I wish it were just a dream but its just one big sick joke.

It's not great and I can see it getting worse. From the impressions people are presenting, there seems to be the start of us turning on each other over a couple of issues.

There's definately something negative in the air and going to the match is certain not as enjoyable as it was.

quick fixes

1) dic take over (not saying they'd be any different from the yanks or moores and parry) but it would at least make 306/rtk happy....until they find something else to sharpen their pitchforks over :-)

2) lots of money thrown at the manager to sign BiG NaMeS to get the fans all giddy.

3) a team looking like they might just go the distance in the league.

4) winning the league.

5) ticket prices fixed for the next season or two for adults.

6) cheaper tickets for kids.

7) make away tickets not a complete closed shop loyalty.

8) open communication with all fans(not just the odd self elected group or official supporters clubs)

9) Give all fans the chance to have a vote on some of the periferal things so we at least feel we have a say in some aspects of how this club is run.

10) free and endless supply of beer.

A change at the very top and/or a winning run playing great football. Couple of camps developing over both issues?

I think a summer spending spree is too far off

Carra can't pass, Kuyt is s****, Finnan has lost it, Riise should be shot at dawn, Crouch doesn't care, Kewell shouldn't be given a new contract, Babel is/isn't a striker and is potential/not good enough. Mascherano is limited and Alonso isn't mobile enough for the premiership. Glad that Sissoko is going, he can't pass. Skrtle can't defend set pieces, Agger is the new 'sicknote'.

Rafa will never win the league with his crazy rotation and he has spent enough money on players to have us closer than we are. If it wasn't for the fans hating Kop Holdings, we could fire him and put winning first by appointing Mourinho but he needs money to succeed and it ain't like the yanks have any of their own to spend. However, maybe DIC can come in with some money and not have so much piled on the club like they have done and intend to do.

Not one thing to worry about, things are great.

Ged 04 V Rafa 08?

I think we're in for big changes again by the end of the season which will cost us big in time and money which is a shame.

It really is the latter only to be honest. Yes a lot of people want change at the very top (G+H) but a winning, succesful football club is a happy football club. We need to win our next 2 games to start up a bit of momentum and lift some of the negative vibes. Being down about our financial situation is one thing but matters are being compounded by the fact that we are amongst Everton, Villa and Man City in chasing 4th spot. I have full sympathy for Rafa and at the moment he has my total support (I don't want to see him sacked) but he and the players need to start delivering some victories. It's a tough situation, everyone can see that but there's no point feeling sorry for ourselves and allowing it to get worse by the week.

3 points on wednesday night please boys, however ugly it may be.

There was definitely a split on the Kop today, a large lack of appetite for any anti-owners songs up against a significant minority who tried to get the protest songs going. It wasn't obvious to me whether it was in the context of that particular game or a more fundamental objection, though I'm leaning towards the latter. When it comes down to it I think it may be that this protest at the game lark is just against everything that's coded in our DNA and there's a widespread uncertainty about the implications of all that's going on which is fuelling the schism. That's not to say that the PR programme has swayed huge sections of the support, more that there's an attitude of let's see what happens next before we storm the barricades.
