need to say a few words about this

we put this together in the format you see, in order to provide a platform for the wider public and especially, journalists, to see where we are coming from

to this end, and in order to put meat on the bone, a survey will soon be sent out to you, as subscribers of YNWA; just 3 questions with yes or no answers.

The results of the survey, bearing in mind we are after at least 10,000 responses (surveys will be sent out by others sites to their members as well) will give the journalists ammunition to work with - this will be a good thing

You will notice that the tone is very calm and non-confrontational, where as I personally have been outspoken on my views about G and H since just after Athens, and about Parry and Moores for 2 years or more. Again, this is about canvassing public opinion and garnering the interest of journalists so we have opted for a more neutral tone, especially as this story is beginning to write itself now

I pray that all this becomes irrelevant very soon and G and H just sell up

In the meantime, although you can probably guess who has had input and they can name themselves if they wish....a word for Ant

He has probably put more man hours in to this than anyone, and in doing so, put aside all feelings about Rafa for the common cause of trying to help in whatever small way we can, to bring the true nature of the clubs problems to a wider audience

In this respect I hope people will cut him a bit of slack in the future

the most important part of all this is for everyone to answer the survey questions when they are emailed

just 3, yes or no answers, but if things are still not resolved by Monday, it could end up being a big help

I saw the questions above and it looks thorough and well written.

This questionnaire you are sending out may miss me.

I need to ask the admin here if they could look into my account as it won't allow me to update email address or other info for some reason.

Just thought i'd mention it as you might want to make sure people check their email address registered with the site is current and working.

And I need you to tell me the reason.....anyone who tries to update their email address, and runs into a problem, please give the reason. You will receive a message telling you the problem - tell me that error message, and then I'll help. My mind-reading skills no longer exist ;)

And use the feedback forum for issues, or mail support@ynwa.tv, instead of using this thread.

I think we're missing one more important question here. It's hinted at in the Mascherano one, but not explicit enough.

Why, nearly a year in, is there little evidence of a significantly higher investment in the playing squad, as was intimated at the time of the take-over ? Talk of a 'record outlay' on players is nonsense, as over half of this spend was funded by sales of existing assets.

Not trying to start a debate about net spend or who we should have bought, but it seems clear that we have not been elevated into a higher spending bracket by the take-over. None of us expected Chelsea like spending, but we did think that we'd eclipse the likes of Tottenham, Sunderland and Man.City.

One way or another by the sounds things this group will become a voice for us, good luck to them because by the sounds of things they have a way with words, the group behind the site that is.

Very Provocative

couple of journoes i've spoken to have said just that, that they were surprised at liverpool fans not drawing attention to this and questioning it sooner in hicks and gillet's tenure. i think that liverpool fc has been the unfortunate guinea pig for the first real con men (or con man, perhaps) to have a go at english football. fingers crossed the salvage job works and DIC get a hold and do the right things. they'll be under far more pressure from liverpool fans to get it right than hicks and gillet were.

I guess we could tag something on to the Mascherano question

don't know how much work this will be; it's something for Dave G as well as Ant I think (thanks Dave btw)

We're hoping to start surveying ON sites at about eight pm tonight. The polls will be open for approximately 36 hours (this is all to be confirmed). It will not be an email poll. We shall post polls on each of our backers websites and collate the results.

Please let your voice be heard.
