Can't believe anyone is seriously suggesting that Rafa should go.

Behaviour more akin to Man City, Tottenham and Newcastle to name the three worst offenders.

Leave it to see how the rest of the season pans out.

Doubt he'll be here next year though barring another CL win.

I'm just not sure anymore. I think he gets to the end of the season and then we re-assess.

Sorry but I think you'd have to be very foolish to want Rafa to leave.

Why?

Surely you can see that all is not well and we've stagnated?

Getting worse than 606 on here. Air your views but polls FFS

40 page thread debating the issue, i'm curious as to the concensus.

You're joking aren't you? During the walk home from the match last night I overheard a good few pieces of wisdom from Liverpool supporters. Two southerners whinging that the match was boring and that they wouldn't bother going again (Good). A fella shouting to his mate "That f***ing manager has got to go" from a passing car. Torres is the only good player he's bought, apparantly and the Americans are right not to let him spend any more money according to some bloke on his mobile outside the Albert. And there was a lad sat behind me (scouser for the record as I've had a go at the two southern g*******s) muttering that the fans singing "La Bamba" should "Shut the f*** up", obviously looking for some peace and quiet while he watched the match.

Obviously not all Rafa related but there was quite a few people with the opinion that Rafa should go on the way home last night.

Even if that's true it doesn't follow that sacking the manager is the answer

Not saying it is, but is it fair to call people foolish for having doubts considering the lack of genuine improvement?

He'll probably win us a European Cup again! But I can't see us ever winning the league under Rafa. Sad but true!

Go. Purely because I dont think we've made any progress in the time he's been here in the league. If we have, I can't see it. I can't ever see him winning it either. But I also think we have even bigger problems with the owners. But thats another story.

He's kept us on an even keel in the league while rebuilding the shambles that GH left behind on a net spend averaging around the £20m mark. He's laid the foundations and the spine of our team matches/betters those of our rivals, we're just missing the final pieces i.e. 2-3 match winners. So yeah lets sack him when we are within touching distance of being one of the best in Europe let alone the PL...

Back him or sack him. No more fannying about.

I hope it's the former. And I mean over the next 12 months with the sort of money we have spent on Torres and Babel.

I just don't know anymore. Even with more squad investment we'd still see the same excessive rotation and over complicated methods and cautious approach.

I doubt any of the wailing and nashing of dentures or the calls for support matter the slightest but if he does go, it would set us back 10 years in my estimation. Imagine, 27 years without the title............
