From what I've heard, Nemeth and that Swedish bloke are supposed to be s*** hot. Think the Swedish bloke is only 16/17 as well, and Nemeth is 17 or 18.

Pacheco and Bruna were also tipped for great things, and from reports usually look 'a class above the rest' when playing in the ressies [Pacheco does, not seen any report with Bruna in it yet].

The three young strikers all play in the U-18s and certainly know where the net is - they're all f***in class on FM as well ; Amoo scored 56 goals in 22 U-18 and Ressies games for me - what more proof do you need?

Oh, there's also Insua who played a wee bit last season - not sure what's happened to him [as in why he hasn't played this season, perhaps not ready yet?] but he's impressed me considering he's a defender [not too many young ones about, and certainly not many who're 18. He also won the U-20 World cup ealrier this summer with the Argie team].

Brouwer's shyte.

Then of course, we have Lucas, Babel, Agger, Masch (Sissoko) all still young enough to be considered 'young' and on the verges of or part of the first team.

Exciting times. Makes a change when our best prospects over the last few years have been Welsh and Mellor.

Plessis is someone thats done well for the reserves, hes a similar build to Momo although he needs to fill out a bit but hes far more composed on the ball already. Hes one that maybe in a year could come into the 1st team squad instead of someone like Sissoko saving us a decent amount in wages plus a transfer fee.

But the individual quality in the reserves and U18 teams is better than i can ever remember at the club id be amazed if next season there arent 2 or 3 that make the 1st team squad (i guess Hobbs already has) and if we do that consistently it will allow Rafa to concentrate his funds on those players that will make a big impact on the first 11 (like Torres) instead of having to spend 4-5 million here and there on squad players on big wages.

Say the following are good enough, we'll be in good stead.

Pacheco

Nemeth

Insua

Spearing, Plesis, Bruna and the Swedish winger could also make it.

2 out of all those would be a good return IMO, as long as they make an impact in the first team.

Who is this Swedish winger?

The only Swedish guy I heard of in the reserves is Astrit Ajdarevic. He's more like a cultured attacking central midfielder with a pretty good left foot.

Thats the bloke I think.

Astrit Ajdarevic think thats who he means, he isnt a winger more of a central midfield playmaker, been very good this season but still very young, he still qualifies for the youth cup.

Nemeth seems clinical as feck, and always in the right place at the right time.

He seems the most likely to be the next big hit.

Would be great if he could make his way into the first team this season. Keep him as 4th choice maybe.

Nemeth: -

Years Club App (Gls)*

2005-2007 MTK Hungária FC 36 (44)

2007 Liverpool reserves 3 (5)

National team

2006- Hungary U21 6 (7)

he's averaged more than 1 goal a game wherever he's played. Not a bad record in the top flight hungarian league too especially to say he was only 16-18 when playing there

Very impressive.

Who is the most well known Hungarian footballer, I cannot think of any.

Are people judging Nemeth by the couple of reserve games he's played or have you seen him play a reasonable amount of games?

Everyone seem to agree that he's something special. Sounds promising.

Ferenc Puskas is supposed to have been decent.

Ferenc Puskás. One of the all-time greats. Hungary were an incredible side for a few years.

Lets hope he is the new Puskas ;)
