2 or three seasons back I was all for SAF stepping aside and moving upstairs to allow someone else to take over the managers job. I thought he had lost his hunger for the game and the players he was buying in were rubbish. His tactics were all wrong insisting on playing 4-5-1 and Rotation was killing us against so called weaker teams. I got a lot of stick off my fellow United fans and even Extreemely Boring Man was laying into me. We didnt make the knock out stage of the CL and were playing s**** football.

 

I would just like to say that I was wrong and SAF is still the best Manager around.

No, I am not saying that. I have never rated Rafa, like you lot I think he messes with the team too much. I know he has had success but you are Liverpool ffs, you are always going to be close to success. GH was the same, tactics all wrong. Correct me if I am wrong, but wasnt Snorky one of the first on here to lose faith in GH, taking a lot of stick in the process?

Funny that, he should take us to 2 European cup finals in just 3 years. About the same as your'e lot have done in their entire history.

Ok, wrong choice of works. Yes he is a good manager, top 4 in the PL as managers go. I meant that with his rotation and a lot of the players he has bought I have never worried that he will take you to your 19th League win.
