honourablegeorge Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Kuyt - still working like a lunatic, still getting into positions, but didn't even manage to hit the target until Voronin's goal.
Guest Sabre Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I watched the game again last night. He was involved in so many of our moves.
McBain Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 3 overhead kicks scored by players so far this season and none by us. Rafa needs to sort this out right now or else
honourablegeorge Posted September 3, 2007 Author Posted September 3, 2007 I watched the game again last night. He was involved in so many of our moves. I know, he's sweating blood for the cause. I dunno if "complain" is the right word. It's more that I want him to get a few goals, purely 'cos he deserves them.
Guest Sabre Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 If the team is scoring 6, who cares how many he scores? I doubt he will lose any sleep over it. He got one assist, he got two goals in the Toulouse match. He's doing great.
Hassony Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Pepe unable to save to penalties!, his standards are slipping, we should sell now
Guest Ant Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 If Kuyt creates 20 goals, but scores 9, I Wouldn't care less, the guy is a class act, Granted he is fustrating and plays too deep sometimes but he is pretty much at the centre of what we create.
Stevie H Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 his goals will come. twelve or so league goals this season will do from him 'cos he contributes so much besides and our goals are going to come from elsewhere unlike previously. we scored twelve goals last week and had seven goalscorers.
ManxRed Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 The armchair g*bs****s down my local think he's sh*t and should be sold so officially he's superb.
Hassony Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 The armchair g*bs****s down my local think he's sh*t and should be sold so officially he's superb.do they want him replaced by Ber"better than pele and maradonna combined"batov
Rimbeux Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I think he's actually playing better this season than last, and yes his misses obviously bother him.
Knox_Harrington Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I think he's actually playing better this season than last, and yes his misses obviously bother him.Agree on both and that's why I'm gutted he didn't get one Saturday. Three goals in two games would have set him up nicely to kick on.
JohnBonham Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I watched the game again last night. He was involved in so many of our moves. Something in the way he movesattracts me like no other lover
honourablegeorge Posted September 3, 2007 Author Posted September 3, 2007 I think he's actually playing better this season than last, and yes his misses obviously bother him. Yeah. Would like to see one go in for him, before it starts to get to him.
ManxRed Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 do they want him replaced by Ber"better than pele and maradonna combined"batov We shoulda bough' vat fackin' Tevez fella innit?
Chili Palmer Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Yeah. Would like to see one go in for him, before it starts to get to him. He scored 2 in the match previously, its only the press that will make a big deal of the difference between goals scored, and goals scored in the league, by March it will be something else like 'a Liverpool side that have failed to score 3 goals in a league game that is held on a sunday away from home when it has been raining.'
Armin_Tamzarian Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I was glad Rafa left him on against Toulouse and he bagged a couple, he needed them. He's contributing in every match he plays and is worth his place.
Hassony Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 9 goals so far from our four strikers shows that Rafa has got it perfect so far
Chili Palmer Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 and yes his misses obviously bother him. Whos missus doesn't?
Bootle Buck Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I watched the game again and was amazed how it seemed Kuyt was involved in everything. He was taking people on and showed he has some nice skill and even pace at times. Granted he missed a few chances but he was in the thick of things all game and caused Derby lots of problems. You could tell he was desperate to score and got a little greedy at times.
Chili Palmer Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 You could tell he was desperate to score and got a little greedy at times. nothing wrong with that when you are 4, 5 or 6 up.
Guest Kaizer Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 (edited) Off course Kuyt gets involved in most things going forward, he is our link player, it goes with the role. Edited September 3, 2007 by Kaizer
