i turned over from watching Hull v Newcastle so only saw the last 15 minutes or so of the first half.. Richardson had gone to do an overhead kick and caught one of the Galway defenders as he's doing so.. the defender grabbed Richardson by the throat before they were pulled apart.. after that there was a good few tasty tackles going in.. i suspect the reason he was giving it loads is because of this.. doesn't make him not an odious little c*** mind..

After that Richardson absolutely creamed one of the Galway defenders in a ridiculous tackle for a friendly. Got booked for it but could easily have been a red in a competitive game. Galway crowd start chanting "Richardson's a w*****" and then when he scored he started giving it all the hands up to his ear stuff.
