From the offish

Promising Liverpool youngster Emiliano Insua will tonight star in the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Canada as his Argentina side begin their quest to retain the title with a tough match against the Czech Republic in Ottawa.

Argentina - with the help of Barcelona's Lionel Messi - won the tournament when it was held in Holland in 2005 and are favourites to triumph once again this time despite such a difficult opening match.

For Insua, a full-back who joined the Reds on an 18-month loan deal from Boca Juniors back in January, it will provide great experience as he plans to make the step up this season from being a regular in Gary Ablett's reserve side to pushing for a first-team place. The Argentine made his debut against Portsmouth in April and Benitez clearly has big plans for the skilful defender.

Too right. He could tap up Messi while he's there

He's a fair few miles away but he could still give it a shot...

Been saying since I first saw him in the reserves that Insua has real potential.

I'm hoping to see him get a few chances in the first team this season.

He is the reason we shouldn't consider selling any of our current left backs/bringing any in until next summer at the earliest.

is it on the picture box?

Eurosport/Eurosport 2 are covering the whole competition. The Argentina game isn't live but is been shown at 5:30 on sunday afternoon.

I think you can watch all the games live at Fifa.com too.
