Will, either have your ticket in advance or have the change to buy it. The ticket machines at Eindhoven station were s*** and there was no one there to buy them off?

dont think so, returns are usually valid on the day only.

you can buy two singles from the counter though

 

the machines are ok, but they require a bank card. not sure if UK cards will work in them. only some have a coin option and i dont think any take bills.
