He was asked by the farking puppet/gorilla Key's could Rooney and Cantona now be compared ?

Now I dont give a fahck about the question but Gray, from sitting upright in his chair, sat back, put his hand to his chin and looked up and remained silent for a few moments as if Key's had just hit him with a question right out of the blue - Gray (really badly) tried to make it look like his answer was off the top of his head. But they had put together a 6 pieces of action comparing Rooney and Cantona (showboating, chips, volleys, tap ins, celebrations, temperament).

They clearly researched thing and I know its all staged but I hated the way he tried to make it look like he was unprepared for the question when you know he was thinking about it for about 3-4 days.

Should this go in the Igor's Rant section ?

Shouldn't your title read "he sits there and tries to look like an orifice"?

The analysis show with no real analysis, if a long shot goes in he'll say "The player should of been closed down quicker". They should call it "State the obvious with Andy Gray and the monkey". It'd be a really worthwhile show if it involved proper analysis teaching the average football fan about certain tactics and stuff but it does nothing of the sort.

"State the obvious with Andy Gray and the monkey".

Ridiculous.

Andy Gray would never work with a real monkey.

Just in case it knows more about footy than he does.

I would love him to be tested on clips where he didnt know where what was going to happen.

Andy, here is a clip, a goal may or may not be scored. Are the players in the right position and if not, where should they be.

Then roll the clip and see if he's so farking smart

*rage eminating from head just like radioactivity eminates from Mourinho's hole/mouth*

The two best 'tactical' analaysis commentators around are probably Graham Taylor (5live) and David Pleat IMO.

Which says it all really

I fully expected the words "Charlie Nicholas & Alan McInally" to follow.

Oh, and btw, the Thread Title could have stopped after the first 4 words :)
