under-valued musical great?

 

Bought a compilation a week or so back of Roy Wood singles - solo, stuff with Wizzard and stuff with The Move - can't help feelingt that he is one of the great unrecognised talents in British pop. Some of the stuff by The Move is as good as The Beatles (though I suspect wouldn't have been there at all if it wasn't for the Beatles) and the Wizzard singles were some of the maddest, most over the top records ever released. He has put out some great singles in his time.

 

And his real name is Ulysses.
