LondonLiverpoolFan Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 (edited) Same pub as last year? The one just outside Liverpool Street Station? Edited January 29, 2007 by LondonLiverpoolFan
Will Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Only if you leave earlier than you did last year so I'm not left standing outside the gates like a lemon waiting to hand over tickets...
LondonLiverpoolFan Posted January 29, 2007 Author Posted January 29, 2007 Only if you leave earlier than you did last year so I'm not left standing outside the gates like a lemon waiting to hand over tickets... You not coming to the pub then?
Will Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 You not coming to the pub then?I'm hoping to come to a pub - not sure it needs to be one in Liverpool Street though... is there a good reason we don't meet nearer the ground?
LondonLiverpoolFan Posted January 29, 2007 Author Posted January 29, 2007 Nope, none what so ever. Any suggestions?

Raj Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Don't mind where we meet up. But most of the pubs close to the ground are s****.
RP Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Railway Tavern opposite Liverpool St is a good place to meet. Nearer the ground (and the one we went in after the game last season), turn 'the wrong way' out of the station (i.e. away from the ground) along Green Street and there is a decent (big) boozer about 200 yards on the right. Don't remember what it is called.
Gilps Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I'll be there - happy enough to meet earlyish round Liverpool Street way.

Des Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Seems like a sensible option. Maybe not.Scroll down to "RVP, Railway Tavern".
RP Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 West Ham away and you're hoping to find a pub not infested with racists?
Des Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 (edited) West Ham away and you're hoping to find a pub not infested with racists? There's a difference between a few racists in the pub and the pub actively putting on nights for the BNP. Would rather not spend my money in there. Edited January 29, 2007 by Des
RP Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 there's a pub just next to it, isn't there? KKK hold their AGM in there.
Des Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 You give your money to a Nazi pub if you want. Your call.
Des Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 A Nazi pub? Thanks anyway. Yes, A Nazi pub that lets Nazis hold their Christmas party in there. Is it complicated?
RP Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Yes, A Nazi pub that lets Nazis hold their Christmas party in there. Is it complicated? Bizarre. I see they had a band on in there last week.
Des Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Bizarre. Am I missing something here? What is bizarre about it?
sutty Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I'm going I'd like to meet in a place that serves lager out of an upturned KKK hat.
matty Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I might pop along for a pint beforehand if you're meeting near my work. of the thousands of pubs between Liverpool St and West Ham, it ought to be possible to find one that doesn't involve assisting the BN feckin P. Poet?
