Wasn't it the the S*n that he gave an interview to? Of all the dumb things he could have done, he goes and does that.

In what capacity? Maybe as a STH in the Anny road end.

Certainly not paid employment.

because he didn't know it was going to go in the S*n.

his interview was to the NOTW and a NOTW journalist. he's always maintained that.

well if thats the case why not sue if they passed the interview on without his permission

I'd not have him back, but nothing to do with the interview. I think he's an arrogant, unpleasant pr*ck of the type I wouldn't want near the club.

Phenomenal player - one of our all-time greats - but a cn*t nevertheless.

not wanting to re-open old wounds, nor prolong the argument, but I read a post in this thread from RAWK 'ere which - to me at least - did include new information, apparently from Souness's point of view. It's DannyD's post, towards the bottom of the first page.

just passing on what I read lads...

No he hasn't that's bollix. I've just re-read his book to check, 'his version of events' he knew it was The S*n and he did the interview with them for £50000(the maggot). He claimed the S*n is a different paper in Scotland and he didn't understand the feelings on merseyside nor the hurt he would cause.

Biggets lie in f*cking history the lowlife c*nt, feck him.

Sold his soul for 50 pieces of silver, but in my 35 years watching

the best centre midfielder we have ever had at this club. Iron fist in a silk glove

I've just read it in his OFFICIAL biography. the one he put his name too and the one he got paid for, why the f*ck would he put his hands up and admit to something as heinous a that if he was innocent. I don't give a sh*t what Mike Ellis told you, Souness is a c*nt and he donated the money 'cos it was the only way to deflect some of the stick which was making his position untenable.

why have you got his biography?

'The management years', it's his second book. Morbid interest I suppose, I couldn't resist reading his version of how he f*cked up our club. I was interested to see whether he blamed anybody else. Tommy Smith and Phil Thompson gets loads of grief.

He didn't really fancy Nigel Clough either. :o
