A problem: "You're through to.... "

one of the lads I work with is a very intelligent bloke but not the most articulate or literate. His work mobile used to have a message of him saying "You're through to the voicebox of xxx xxxxxxx, please leave a message after the tone and I'll get back to you as soon as I can".

 

When we first heard this we laughed at him at great length and he eventually changed the message. I now have a problem with this though, because everytime I get through to anyone's voicemail and the message starts " You are through to the voicemail of..." it reminds me of the stoopid message my colleague had and I start laughing and can't leave a message without sounding like I'm having a nervous breakdown. How can I get over this problem?
