I really think Carra will one day manage Liverpool and would love to have a bet on it now so would any of you know if a bookmaker would lay odds now on this happening.

We better start talking to Curbishley again, looks like he could be on his way to upton park.

Yes! That's our cue to make puns up based on Who songs (Curbishley's brother being the band's tour manager). I feel we didn't explore this enough last time round.

You know, who'll be his first Substitute? Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Now that the prices have gone up, the Kop's a real Teenage Wasteland.....ad nauseum.

Suppose now that 'The Good's gone' and Pardew is 'out in the street' and WHU now no longer have 'A Legal Matter' to attend to, they can go for Curbishley, although I'm sure the Hammers fans 'Won't get fooled again' and will be thinking 'I've had enough' should they change managers yet again over the next few seasons.

Of course they'll always be the kind of fixture that gets the '5.15' premplus match - if they do stay up - if they go down expect the 'Who are you' chants from the championship side's fans.

If it does go t*** up - expect to see a 'Punk and Godfather' management team of Pearce and El Tel, a Christmas tree formation with a 'Squeezebox' defensive strategy.

Out of the current squad I could definitely see Alonso as a future manager. A real student of the game as well as knowing a fair bit about good technique...
