First trip over of the season for me. Bringing a buddy who has never been to Anfield before (and may have a Liverworld bag with him) so not sure if I should bring him to the Oakie or not. :hmm:

tell him to take a spare bag from Netto, empty his goods into that I am sure no one will take the piss out of him.

Your welcome.

And can he put his jesters hat into the bag too ?

I have to pick Margie and her dad up from his club tonight, but could probably meet you in town at 8 O'Clock..?

Yeah just give me or Neville a ring and we can let you know where we'll be. Probably Blackburne Arms from about 8ish mind.

to get to the Oakie from the ground

Stand next to the Kop on Walton Breck Road (So the Kop is on your left and the Park pub is on your right) walk in the direction you're facing - you'll pass a garage on the left. Keep walking - you'll walk past a pub called Sam Dodds on your left. Keep walking - if you look ahead - the road bends a bit and in front of you - you'll see a pub at the top of the road - walk towards that and depending on your eyesight - you'll see it's the Oakfield

Once you get in - get a pint (if you like pints) downstairs then walk upstairs (the entrance to upstairs is in the middle of the pub between the men and womens toilets) - they serve bottles upstairs - so if you're gay and like bottles you won't have to queue for pints

Trying my best to be there afterwards, 50/50 at the moment.
