I was very impressed by Peltier againt Brum and hope he is given more opportunities in the first team.

Apparently full back is not his favoured position but he certainly looked the part.

Never head of Peltier until the Brum game but would really like to see him in a Prem match.

Hope Raffa gives the lad further opportunities before signing a right back, be it Alves or that thug from Blackburn.

im probably doing my typical going overboard rubbish, but i thought he was our man of the match, didnt put a foot wrong, and dare i say, got into better wing positions then the winger that night, Pennant

didnt Gerrard make his first few apperances at right back as well, from what i remember of Stevies first few games, this lad seems way more advanced

ive just given this kid the kiss of death :hooked:

Played well in pre-season, and again against Reading and Birmingham. Maybe not quite ready for the first team, but give him time and he'll take over Steve Finnan. No need for Lucas Neill really

We said the same thing about Otsemebor a few years ago, let's just hope Rafa keeps him in the squad and gives him a few more games.

A while back, someone actually dug up an old Teamtalk your say page where people where arguing if his best position was defensive midfield or rightback.

Stevie for rightback. You know it makes sense!

Think that's as far as it'll get though.

Peltier did alright, thought he could've done a bit more in possession though.

He's a good player. One for the future.

Not as good as me though!

Tommy Smith wrote a number of Echo articles to that effect

He also played left back (away against Villa, did well)

I remember him playing left back against city away in the treble season, thats when I knew Zeige wasnt going to make it at liverpool. He was fit and on the bench
