I think we have been playing some good football this season, but luck has gone against us. How many times have we hit the woodwork? Not to mention the refereeing. As you say, we are still not out of the title race even though we have not yet won an away game.

Is right. We need to step it up massively.

I don't think anybody is saying that we are in with a chance of the title at the present level of performance. The point is that it is early in the season, and if we can improve our standard of play and put a good run together, we can still challenge for the Premiership.

 

Most people would agree that we have a much stronger squad than we had last season, but there are still a few things to work on before we have a really cohesive unit.

If we beat ManU and Arsenal we're still in with a challenge, it's just the way we're playing now makes that unlikely.

Sheffield aside I don't think its been all that bad granted we haven't been firing on all cylinders but we are still in there...

 

Bolton are just one of "those" teams that everyone hates to play against and only Manu and the Chavs managed to get results there last season. Come the end of the season they will be up there as one of the teams with the best home record in the PL as will the Chavs so no shame in loosing IMHO...
