I told you.... i told you.... i f***ing told you...

I was iron maidened upon thr moment of mentioning Crouch. How long will it take the fickle gang to realise and chastise the ability of Crouch.

what will it rteally take for the sentimental bunch to notice that this man isnt up to it at all???

Ive been mocked, shouted at .... god and myself oly know.... ive been hung draw and 1/4rd...

but i was right.

Crouch, although a lovely fella... an outcast....

he is not good enough

people have fallen in love with the man simply because he gets a lot of stick....

this i have only a small problem with.... he's been mocked for no reason ... but how many people here didnt mock him when he was at villa?

fans are all the same.... they are all scum. i include liverpool fans simply because i know that they are also scum.

I dont want to bring my younger brother to a game simply because of this... the disgusting chants ... the aggresive atmosphere..(at times.)

to be honest , im a little pissed off at fans in general.

liverpool were fantastic

tonight... they broke through newcastle like they were wet paper....

I shouldn't complain....

sorry

ive had a few beers... i'm sorry if i've offended people.

I should be celebrating, liverpool were excellent tonight... they were set in their goals... they made things happen.

liverpool broke newcastle down liek they were nothing.... I just get a little annoyed at times i guess....

7 points is ok. build on it...

We played ok in patches. Major problem with not taking our chances, at least 5 goals that SHOULD have been converted.

Re the original post, not sure what your point is but yes Kuyt is class, however at times seems a bit too keen. Crouch still has an important role to play in this team, but looked a bit shakey last night.

Didn't see anything different from the Chelsea game.

At times we pass the ball about like Valencia did under Benítez.

Finishing moves remains a problem as well as profligacy in front of goal.

Nervousness at the back reared it's ugly head, but see my point below about settling in.

It's plain to see that there are still players adapting - positional sense went awry quite a few times - we had two players going for the same ball or centre and getting in each others way - Fabio Aurelio springs to mind quickly with the Gerrard trademark pull-back corner to be volleyed at goal - and Kuyt in the box. Agger was also hesitant, but that's normal. It's the price of putting a team together - once they are settled and it will be sooner rather than later I think we will have a squad that will challenge.

As soon as players are settled into the side they start to lift their heads up more on the ball - that's when the overlapping runs - Gerrard and Luis Garcia never stopped last night - will be spotted.

Credit were credit is due. Rafa has stuck with Xabi even though he was off form at the beginning of the season. That faith has paid off (I'm not talking about the goal) - his passing was nearly back to it's best and he worked his socks off - he's back into his groove which is nothing but good news for the team.

Crouch will struggle to get in the side if Kuyt continues the way he is - he's gonna score a fooking hat ful. Having said that we need a big squad and Crouch is a fantastic player to have - I cant believe ppl are still questioning him when he is contributing so much for club and country when called upon. There is no shame being a bit part player for the best team in the land.

right now I'd rather see Crouch in the team than Bellamy to be honest.

Crouchy was in good form, would like to see him play more, cos he will contribute and score goals.
