Is this purely a hunch NYR? Or is there a bit more substance? Given all the info you gave on them before they sound like a great fit for us. My main worry is the 'type' or person that buys in. there's some right charlatans around.

It's purely a hunch right now. But, I've every intention of getting my friend to bring it up the next time he meets them. Actually he was with them last Friday, and maybe it came up then.

Exactly. Because we see everything through odd lenses. I never thought the Glazers were necessarily bad for Man U, don't know that the Krafts are necessarily good. I'll judge each case on its merits. Right now I know nothing about what their involvement would mean and so have no basis to form an opinion.

They have a reputation both in business and in their US Sports dealinggs of being honest and fair people with a genuine love of the sports they are involved in (including 'soccer') and they believe strongly in community. Other than that, Scot's right - they look, sound ans smell like a good fit - but until they were in charge we could not really be sure.

My wife works for an investment company in Liverpool and she was saying that a number of people were speculating along similar lines today re Kraft coming back into the fray
