If this scenario is true then I wouldnt feel too bad with it However there have also been suggestions that we only matched Swanseas wage offer, that Reading actually put a better wage offer on the table and Spurs may have even doubled our offer I do hope this isnt a sign that the club is penny pinching or that huge salaries like Cole & Aquilani earn arent becoming albatrosses around our neck and effecting our ability to conclude new deals If we cannot attract players like Sigurdsson what chance have we of getting better quality players, I always thought he'd be about the best "level" of player we could attract and it appears we cant even do that
