Is this the beginning of the end?

The win is a complete irrelevance, after what happened in our end towards the end. EASY chanting completely took the gloss off a good win.

bit OTT that pal, you always get chants that are 'small time' but enjoy the win, any win against the chavs is worth enjoying! :)

Melodramatic.

Why is it melodramatic? There is absoloutely no place for it in football and no way in our support. I am embarrassed to be a Liverpool fan tonight after that.

tickets much easier to get hold of for this game, therefore more part-time/day tripper type fans.

put it in a box to one side mate, it's not reflective of our overall support.

lol @ this thread...

As long as our fans aren't chanting anything negative or about deceased fans/players then I don't have a problem with it.

The end of our support? Thats one hell of an exaggeration, just because a few "Easy" chants got thrown around (Which i don't have a problem with, reminds me of soccer AM) doesn't mean our whole fan base is going to collapse into one pile of mess.

Enjoy the win... just like the fans who were there did.

There is nothing that has ever happened that has made me embarrassed to be a Liverpool fan, including Heysel. I'm embarrassed by some of the people associating themselves with our club at times throughout the years, but to say you're embarrassed to be a supporter of our great club is pathetic.

Tickets for The Community Shield are much more easily available than for most other games. Loads of brand new shirts, jester hats and a much higher proportion of Sky generation knobheads.

Normal service resumes next week.

I actually thought the 'eas-eh' chants were a nice tribute to their bunch of Sky-generation, nouveau rich, plastic d****eads.

Made me laugh :D

Loads of people were doing the esah thing after the Chelsea semi game, both of them. Even on the Kop. So shut up with your whinging please.

jeeez stupid thread...

moaning at our fans for an "eassssy easssy" chant???!!?

big fecking deal.....and yes maybe today included many fans who normally wouldnt have been able to get tickets like the so called"real" fans

We had fantastic support today unlike the pathetic chelsea fans.....lets give our fans credit for making the effort to turn up instead of moaning about the particular chants they were singing.

"Who are ya?" and "Eas-eh" were embarrasing.

hardly, chelseas support was embarrasing.

Whats wrong with chanting easy and who are you :notrelatedtoanyforummember2: .

Chelsea fans would do it back to us, its only banter and however annoying them songs are when you are singing them will be about 5% of the annoyance the chelsea fans would be feeling

It's sad and pathetic.

Funny against them in the Euro semi - that was done ironically on the kop because those bellends we're about the only ones doing it back then.

f***ing dreadful for our fans to be douing it though, and it's been going for a while now at Anfield. Sort it the f*** out.

Neither have I until tonight and i've heard a few people say the same thing. The myth of our great support has been shattered today and we are no better than Chelsea fans :(

Easy chanting :(

Its not just the chant itself, its all the stupid soccer am big daddy actions. Its Not been done so much en masse like today. There was alot doing it at Luton after we came back to win but I reluctantly let that go, as they were doing it all game and it was ironic, towards the stupid small time nationwide muppets that do it. We have shown today we are no better as your not singing anymore and who are ya proves. We can't just put it down to a few idiots on the kop, or a few daytrippers, this is a serious problem in our support and its been there for all to see today.

Obviously ignoring the fact that we filled our end and Chelsea were no where near.
