According to Marca.

He's turned down Zaragoza's new deal and it seems we're in like flynn. He's one of the best young players in Spain. I've seen him a few times, both for Zaragoza and the Youth World Cup. Would be a hell of a signing. Can play in the middle or on the right.

IT REJECTED A RENOVATION BY FIVE SEASONS

Now the Liverpool wants to take to Zapater

V. Jarné and J. Hernandez. Zaragoza

Alberto Zapater is to a passage of the Liverpool. The English set has put, this season, the eyes in the canterano of the Zaragoza. One `to per it', already polished, that has given to many joys to the equipment maño him. Those same joys, together with to their great quality and the soccer that unfolds, cause that Zapater approaches, every day more, to the Liverpool de Rafa Benítez. A technician who knows the midfield player when seeing perfectly him in the inferior categories.

After the march of Cani, one of the greater headaches of the sport direction of the Zaragoza is the renovation of Zapater. A renovation that it had to have arrived a long time ago and that now can be too much behind schedule. Agapito Churches, new maximum shareholder of the club, and as Miguel Pardeza recognized, issued the order to renew the player, like one of the priorities facing the next season. The club throws the house by the window to renew the midfield player and it sends a supply to him of five seasons, of a million euros by each one of them (about six hundred thousand euros more incentives). Nevertheless, from sources near the club they assure that it has rejected the supply and that in the next days its representative, Gines Carvajal, will present/display one contraoferta, who will not distará much to request a million euros, without having to depend on incentives.

Several equipment would be arranged to take control of the services of Zapater. The Valencia made its desires public; nevertheless, the Liverpool is the one who better positioned is and the possibility that does not discard it pays the clause (six million euros), although is not necessary to forget that Zapater concludes contract the next year and then it would enter a strip and it relaxes by the formation rights.

Abraham Zapruder filmed the kennedy assassination when he went with his daughter to try out his new cine camera. Strange link with Liverpool FC is that his daughters son, a big Liverpool fan managed to catch footage of the robben assassination at stamford bridge, when it was claimed that a second shooter hit robben as well as a glancing touch from Pepe Reina.

Fate has also contrived to rob us of any facts, his father was only inches away from filming the grassy knoll, a place rumoured to have a second assassin (badge man) and his grandson too was only inches away from filming one of the grassy knolls on the pitch that it was thought contained the second shooter. So far 'badge man' has been unavailale for comment but is said to be rattled.

Never heard of him, how can he be any good?

He's supposed to be a tough tackling defensive midfielder, with good passing range, and he's been one of the best young players in Spain for then last couple of seasons.
