I'm not really sure Konchensky does improve us. That's the problem. We still have Insua you know. Kinda agree about Salcido though. Seemed a good player.

Exactly. Sure it'd make me feel slightly better if we'd sold him for £40M, but it's not as if we'd get that to spend. We're in such a f***ing hole that we need somebody with £100's of millions to bail us out - it's difficult to care about Mascherano going a bit cheaply.

Seems odd. Hodgson wanted him when he was at Fulham, and then allows him to leave when he gets here.

Reckon that's a load of old b******s myself. It's perfectly acceptable to not rate a manager as it is with a player. In both cases it makes sense to give them some time however before getting the knives out.
