I'm not sure these questions are suited to a poll. I haven't voted, but my answers are: How do you feel about Liverpool being taken over by another US based group? Unsure - cautiously optimistic I suppose. Above all happy that G & H are on their way out, provided it all goes through of course. Do you think Liverpool can win honours this season? On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being no chance, I'd say about 3. Do you think Liverpool could be relegated? Too many variables with this one. Manager? Points deduction? What if Hicks manages to cling on? As things stand relegation is a possibility, but if this takeover happens it has to be highly unlikely.

Largely agree with David Hodgson's post. This season hasn't been good enough so far, but last season certainly wasn't either. Early days yet for Roy who still has it all to prove, but the fixtures have been very tough and Sunday was the first game he's actually had all his signings available to him.

Lucho Gonzalez would have been a good option.

No idea what he's said there that's so offensive - I'm pretty sure Hodgson did say that, and based on yesterday's game we did try to keep the ball on the deck, admittedly without actually doing much...

Very much so, him instead of Maxi could have made a big difference.

Poulsen played well today, particularly second half. Seems to partner Gerrard quite well too.

Considering we lost against United I don't actually feel that bad about it. I thought there were a few signs of improvement, collectively and individually. Meireles looks nailed on first-choice material, Cole and Poulsen both improved as the game went on. Torres looks to be regaining his fitness and Gerrard was solid in a fixture that hasn't always seen his best performances over the years. On the down side Maxi was a non-entity, Konchesky had a hard time with Nani and Johnson failed to make the most of some promising positions. As a team we showed mental strength to fight our way back into it and there was some composed and constructive passing in midfield, again more so as the game went on. Obviously it still wasn't great - we lacked penetration, there was no support for Torres until Ngog came on, and the defence made basic errors as it has done for over a year now. As for Webb I actually thought he was OK on the whole, although I'd like to know how 4 goals, 6 substitutions and a penalty only adds up to 4 minutes added time. Thought the O'Shea decision was probably correct, I don't think Torres was close enough to the ball to call it a clear goal-scoring opportunity. It's been an extremely tough start for us, but we're only 3 points off fourth place. The pressure's on now and we really need to start getting results, but I still haven't given up hope for this season.

Haha, that's actually pretty funny... He's definitely grown on me with his recent t***ting around - hopefully he'll sort his football out too.

I thought Kelly was solid, though I've seen him have better games going forward. I'd be interested to see him at centre half at some point, he seems to have the composure and he's certainly big enough.

First half not good, second half was a big improvement. We started out far too deep, but I'm sure I saw Hodgson telling the players to push up in the second half. I was encouraged by Meireles, he looks like he could be a decent acquisition.
