    The thing with Sterling was the BBC interview whilst still under contract. Just came across like an entitled little prick.

    On a slightly different note and thinking about how Jürgen has at times spoken about pre-season, I hope we sack off any far east or US commercial tours this year. Just do a proper training camp so the team and new manager can get some quality time on the pitch.

    Yeah I thought it was odd that they didn't say how many have been released now and how many they hope to add at some point. You'd like to think your Palace ticket will come through. It's far enough away for them to get it all signed off as well.

    Same here. The only hope I'm holding is we're 5800 for Burnley and 4300 for Sheffield United. Not sure how many additional tickets will come into play when we go to full capacity

    I think it would be a great gesture to make and feels exactly like the type of thing that makes this club special. My son has finally caught the bug so we've got tickets for the game. Should be a decent day out.

    Only on their non-sanctioned lunch breaks. That's the point I was making. I thought he was highly rated, and this is a loan to a team/league that will be a million miles from where we'd need him to be.

    It really is bizarre though isn't it? If you were the more powerful majority, to 'lose' power to the minority you'd have to cede it or have it taken from you. Why would you feel threatened if the 'other side' were the minority? Is it purely (as is often written) a lack of opportunity (real or perceived), poverty etc. and a narrative that 'these people' are the cause, rather than the real reasons?

    Maybe they should send him for a 6 month loan to a Chinese coal mine in that case? Or perhaps we should send our youth players to play football at a decent level.

    He really is a complete and utter b*****d. What is really sad is the number of people in the comments to his tweets that view him as some warrior defending the white man against the invasion of women and non-whites. I'm sure they'd be a really interesting psychological study there as to how the dominant player in society (white heterosexual male) can feel so threatened by such small actions as female sports pundits. Obviously not all do but what is common about those that do?

    Save yourself the effort One thing I have noticed with Twitter now more than before is that when you look at what is trending and click on it, more often than not it's literally everyone saying why is... trending. The actual thing is near impossible to find.

    I read yesterday that the plan would be for all the matches to be free to watch on an app. That is 1 positive I guess. The reality is that football is nothing like it used to be and it's already pretty soulless and corrupted by money. This would be no different.

    They need to do something about how tickets are being allocated. Next to impossible to get them in the ballot but the atmosphere is consistently poor now.

    Sack of s*** in terms of defending and managing a game but wins like that are good fun! Can we just skip to the future when all matches are televised and we don't have to watch them on crappy streams?!
