Off topic slightly, but what are the options in getting setanta and the new LFC TV channel if you only have sky and no sports? Im in Ireland Up to now, Ive been watching all the matches on stream and watching match of the day for highlights, but would love to get the LFC TV channel, but not if its going to cost an arm and a leg. Anyone in the same boat and want to advise?

He was our best player, he scored the goal to win us a point. he then worked even harder in another position when asked, but you still slate him. This is just the perfect opportunity for the prats that listen to the sky/mirrors of this world that Pennant is a bad boy and doesn't deserve to play for Liverpool. Get a f***ing grip ffs! Kuyt seems to get some bizarre stick on here, but he did the Gerrard job last night as he harried everything, never gave up and get trying to do something when he got the ball. At times last night Masch was on the ball and Gerrard wasn't even looking for it. A shocking performance from him. I don't want to harp on about our captain, because we were shakey all over the pitch (at one stage I thought Masch couldn't pass to another player in red), but I find it increasingly frustrating that when we have a bad game, the usual suspects get the abuse i.e. Pennant, Finnan, Kuyt, Sami etc, but the "untouchables" (Gerrard/Carragher/Masch) don't seem to get any bad press, well judging by their performances last night - the deserve it this morning.

Giggs has been performing at the top for 10-15 years and is now 34 and not the player he was. But he is still a first team regular for a United side that won the title last year (hate typing that but) ...But Is he not similar to someone like Maldini. Both are still world class, and deserved it.

Re-watch the highlights again - himself and Pennant were outstanding on the left. Riise is going to have a big problem getting to be first choice again. I think it could be over for him and will turn into a squad player, especially the way Arbeloa is playing.....and we have Fabio AND Kewell to return aswell!!

I agree with that. Even Trevor Steven commenting on the game for TV3 in Ireland mentioned that there is a strong feeling around the club about this season. But as someone said once, we have to take one game at a time.

Finally a bit of sense. We are attempting to win the title THIS year, and that means we have to keep winning games and not getting sidetracked about using all our squad to blood them in. Our strongest 11 against Derby which means Alonso and Masch in the middle for me with Gerrard still out. There is a chance we could get overconfident and when that happens that likes of Derby nick draws and we drop 2 vital points. We are currently on Par with Chelsea/Arsenal and ahead of United and while we have this games (next 3) against so called poorer sides, we need to win and win well to keep the momentum going.
