No. If it was Gerrard 8 years ago he wouldn't have him playing in this role at all I think when Gerrard moves on it won't be that sort of player who replaces him in that role. It will be a Lucas/Leon Britton + But we shall see. He might do something mad and lash Robben there

I'm not sure its that. I think he just (understandably) wants Gerrard in the team, and saw that as the best place for him When Gerrard moves on, I doubt we will look for a like for like replacement in that role. It will probably be someone less dynamic
